What is Elara App and How to Remove It?

If you have the Elara app installed on your computer, then you might have encountered certain technical issues on your PC at some point of time. What is Elara App?

Elara is an in-built application on Windows, typically manufactured by a Japanese developer. This application usually runs as an ApntEX.exe process in the Task Manager and its prime purpose is to support the touchpad’s functionality. This program is specifically located under the Program Files folder of C drive.

But many users find the usage of the app to be problematic as according to their experience, the Elara app is preventing Windows from signing out or from shutting down. Even as the appearance of the app seemed nowhere, some users even assumed it to be a potentially unwanted virus or program.

Though the original Elara app is not that dangerous, its main process that runs in the background often gets replaced by malware. What this malware does is that often it causes the system to crash and slow down, even sometimes users find no such signs. So, it becomes significant to know whether malware has affected the Elara app’s process or not.

Problems Associated with Elara App:

When the Elara app users are trying to simply sign out or shutting down their system, they often come across errors like:
